Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)

is Canada’s one of the best immigration and settlement program to get Canadian Permanent Residence in Canada. Federal Skilled Worker Program provides skilled workers and their family members an opportunity to become permanent resident and settle in Canada. Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) is a point based immigration program and applicant should shows intentions to live outside of Quebec as Quebec has its own selections criteria and points system.

Based on their qualifications, candidates will obtain Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score that defines their eligibility to get an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian Permanent Residence. -Acceptable language proficiency result that is equivalent to Canadian Language Benchmark assessment level 7 in all components such as Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking of either French or English.

Required Settlement Funds

Unless a candidate is currently authorized to work or stay in Canada or has arranged employment in Canada, he/she needs to show the required settlement funds in his/her bank account to prove that you can economically establish yourself and your family members in Canada. Processing Time 

The processing time is depend on individual application. However, Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) finalize most complete application in six months or less.

Medical Requirements

As part of the application. All applicants under 18 and over applying under Federal Skilled Worker (FSWP) category, are encouraged to undergo for Medical examination once they receive their Invitation to Apply (ITA). It is recommended that medical examinations must be valid at the time of applying for permanent residence and when landing in Canada.

Police Clearance Certificate

Applicants age 18 years or over applying under Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), need to obtain police clearance certificate from the countries where they live 6 months or more on residence permit, student visa or work permit to prove they are admissible to come to Canada.
