Federal Skilled Trade PROGRAM
What this program is about?
Federal Trade Worker Program is designed for individuals who would like to get permanent residency in Canada on the basis of their qualification and experience related to skilled trade. However, residing outside of Quebec is the mandatory requirements for this class.
The criteria for Federal Trade Worker Program is not different than Canadian Experience Class and Federal Skilled Worker Class. Applicant required to create profile in the express entry pool to receive score through comprehensive ranking system (CRS) that determine applicant’s ranking in the pool. As this is a skilled trade class and education is not a requirement for this class but applicant can still increase their CRS score with the help of their Canadian Education Credentials (if they have) or they can apply for the foreign credential assessment through one of the designated Education Credential Assessment body.
Eligibility Factors:
-Candidate fulfills the requirements and criteria set out in the lead statement of National Occupational Classification (NOC) for employment requirements.
-Candidate either required a valid offer of full time employment of at least 1 year from Canadian employer OR can provide Certificate of Qualification in the relevant skilled trade issued by the Canadian provincial or territorial body as Certificate of Qualification define that the Candidate is eligible to work under that skilled trade in Canada.
-Minimum two years of full time or equivalent part time post qualification relevant work experience in the last five years or before lodgment of application.
-Fulfils the language proficiency levels in English/French minimum CLB Level 5 in Listening and Speaking as well as CLB Level 4 in writing and reading components.
