PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAM
Canadian Provinces
perform a vital part in Canadian Immigration system. Provincial nomination offers one of the leading pathways towards Canadian Permanent Residence. Through this program, provinces and territories nominate foreign/international candidates who would like to settle in Canada especially in a particular province. There are ten provinces and three territories in Canada with more than 80 provincial immigration nomination programs. Each province and territory have their own immigration program based on various requirements, criteria and procedures. Quebec does not have any provincial nomination program they have their own immigration programs.

To apply under one of the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) applicant should:
- -Contact to the relevant provincial body and apply for nomination
- -Create expression of interest (EOI) profile and select the specific province
- -Be nominated by that province or territory, and
- -Apply to for permanent residence application upon receiving Invitation to Apply (ITA).
The Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) is for applicants who have:
- Active Express Entry profile
- -Candidate have the required work experience, skills, education and ability to contribute to the economic growth of one of the provinces or territories in Canada where he/she would like to settle.
- -Candidate is intended to reside in that specific province
- -Candidate has intentions to get Canadian permanent residence status
- In Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) each province and territory has their own specific streams and each stream has its own requirements and criteria. In these streams, provinces and territories may nominate to the following candidates.
- -Entrepreneur (business individual)
- -Graduates (students)
- -Foreign Skilled workers
